Why spray-dried powder still sells best.
Spray drying sprays the liquid mix into a tower of hot air, so every grain dries with air trapped inside. You get a powder that pours easily, dissolves quickly, holds its scent and does not go hard in a humid warehouse. That matters far more in the Gulf and Africa than it does in Europe.
Dry blending simply mixes finished ingredients together, so heavier particles settle in transit and the first scoop washes differently from the last. Spray drying builds the complete formulation into every granule at the right proportion, which is why performance holds to the bottom of the pack, and why active matter can go above 18% without the powder turning tacky.
Hard water works against detergent: dissolved calcium and magnesium react with the surfactants, so part of the dose is consumed before it reaches the wash. Powder answers this better than liquid because builders and sequestrants — the ingredients that bind those minerals — can be carried at high levels in a dry formulation, and spray drying distributes them evenly through every granule rather than leaving them to separate out as a dry blend does. We set the builder level against the water hardness of your market, so tell us the typical hardness where the product will be sold and we will specify to it.
It also gives you several price points from one process. The same tower makes a 7% economy powder for value shoppers and an 18%-plus premium powder for branded shelves, so you can cover more of your market without finding a second supplier.

Questions buyers ask first.
What is the smallest order?
40 tonnes per spec, which is about one 40-foot container. You can mix grades or pack sizes in one shipment as long as each spec makes up a full production run.
Can you match a powder we already sell?
Usually, yes. Send us the spec or a sample. Our technical team tests it and sends back a matching sample for your approval before any production is booked.
Can the formulation be adjusted for hard water?
Yes. Water hardness varies widely across our markets, and the builder and sequestrant content is specified per order to suit it. Send the typical hardness figure for your market, in ppm or degrees, and the formulation is set against it; if you do not have one, we will work from published figures for the region.
Does the powder cake in Gulf humidity?
Spray-dried granules resist caking because each granule is a complete, evenly dense particle rather than a loose mixture. The pack matters as much as the powder, so laminate barrier structures are specified as standard for Gulf and coastal African destinations.
Who owns the pack artwork?
You do. We prepare print-ready files to your brand guidelines, and the printing plates stay reserved for your products.
How do we know each shipment is good?
Every batch comes with a test certificate against the agreed spec, produced under ISO 9001:2015, with batch numbers you can trace back to the production run and the raw material lot.
